Right + Left = WRONG

Senator Michael D'Arcy has welcomed the admission from Independent TD Mick Wallace that the No campaign in the Stability Treaty is ‘divided'. Senator D'Arcy added that Deputy Wallace's admission highlighted the many holes in the argument being made by those opposing the Treaty. “It is interesting that Deputy Wallace chose the launch of the report from the Sub-Committee on the Stability Treaty to admit that the No side of the debate is divided, and that he expects the Yes side to win. This is a rare moment of openness and clarity from a m …

Senator D’Arcy calls on PBP Cllr. Pat Dunne to apologise for shameful statement

Published on Thursday, 03 May 2012 23:04

The current Fiscal Treaty referendum campaign is of critical importance as we prepare to make vital decisions about the future stability of our country. Despite the seriousness of these issues I was appalled, if not totally surprised to hear the shameful antics of Cllr Pat Dunne from People before Profit. Published on Wednesday, 01 February 2012 13:47

The recession is biting hard and personal indebtedness is at an all-time high. In my role as a public representative this is unfortunately one of the most common areas that people come to me for help. The circumstances behind most people's financial misfortunes nearly always involve recent unemployment or pay cuts. The knock-on effect is them struggling to make ends meet in the short term and them ignoring long term commitment such as mortgage on other loans. In nearly all circumstances I refer people to MABS – the Money Advice and Budgeting Se …
